Cookies & Tracking Technologies

What we use, what it does, and how to opt out. Last updated May 20, 2026.

What this page covers

A “cookie” is a small piece of data a website sets on your device so it can recognize you on a return visit. This page describes the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, web beacons, server logs) that this website uses.

The short version

This site does not run third-party advertising, behavioural retargeting, or cross-site tracking. We do not sell your data. The cookies we set are the minimum needed to make the site work and to keep it safe from spam.

Categories of cookies and tracking technologies

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function. These cannot be switched off without breaking core features.

Analytics (if enabled)

We may use basic analytics to count how many people visit each page and where they come from. Analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals. If/when we enable analytics, this page will list the specific provider and link to their privacy policy.

Marketing

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated and we will collect consent before activating them.

Consent

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act or Canada’s anti-spam legislation. Analytics or marketing cookies, if added, will be subject to your explicit consent and will not load before consent is given.

How to opt out

You can:

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting purposes. These logs are retained per our provider’s default policy and are not used to identify individual visitors.

Updates to this policy

We may update this notice when we add or remove a tracking technology. The current version is always posted at this URL with the “last updated” date above.
